Dominique Delisle Received a DEA degree in Signal Processing from the University of Brittany (Rennes-1979) and a Dipl-Ing degree from the Ecole National Supérieure des Telecomunication de Brest (1981). He Joined the FT-R&D in 1981 and was first involved in Narrowband ISDN interface design. He then has been responsible for the study of data services over ATM network and in charge of a department on "High Bit Rate Data Services and Network" in the FT-R&D in Lannion from 1989 till 1996. From 1988 till 1992 he has been special rapporteur in ITU com XVIII (com 13) for ISDN Interfaces and chairman of the ETSI/NA5/SAS group on data services from 1991 to 1995. He represented France Telecom in ITU com XVIII (then Com 13) and in ETSI TM3, NA2 and NA 5 on ISDN, ATM and connectionless services from 1982 till 1996. He participated in several RACE projects and has been an auditing member of ESPRIT project from 1991 to 1992. He joined the Corporate Services directorate ("DSE") of the FT-R&D in 1996 to head the laboratory "High Bit Rate Data Services and Network" that he left at the end of 1998. He has been appointed as the IP Program Director in FT-R&D since that date. He has collaborated to the writing of a book on ISDN, is the author or co-author of several publications in reviews or conferences in the field of high speed data transmission, connectionless services and ATM and lead a teaching program for the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications.
